Exhibition Architectural bureau «EVGENY GERASIMOV AND PARTNERS». 20 YEARS

The 20 year anniversary exhibition takes place in The Marble Hall of the Russian Museum of Ethnography, Inzhenernaya street 4/1, St.Petersburg on the 04 - 16th October 2011.

The Exhibition is open from 10am to 8pm daily. Entrance is free.

The company was founded by Evgeny Gerasimov in St. Petersburg in 1991. It has more than 30 completed projects in its portfolio. They were built in St. Petersburg. It has also many projects which are under development. Most of the completed projects are being featured at the exhibition.

First there were only two persons working in the private constructive workshop. But now «EVGENY GERASIMOV AND PARTNERS» is a well-known architectural brand among common people and experts thanks to its ambitious projects.
The partners are Evgeny Gerasimov, Zoya Petrova, Victor Khivrich.
Among the most significant projects of the bureau are "Europe Embankment" and "Nevskaya Rathaus" complexes, exhibition center "Expoforum" in Shushary, office business complex on Malaya Okhta with the central building of "St. Petersburg Bank" ltd, residential area in Kudrovo village (all these projects are being performed in cooperation with Sergey Tchoban, nps tchoban voss). Among the most famous completed projects are hotel on Ostrovsky square, residential houses on Staro-Nevsky Prospekt, apartment complexes on the Krestovsky and Stone islands - "The Fifth Element", "Stella Maris", "The House by the Sea" (together with S. Tchoban), "Green Island", etc. There is a St. Petersburg Jewish Community House on the Petrograd side, which won not only architectural awards but also Prize of St. Petersburg and Russian Federation Government in the field of culture.
Other projects also took part in architectural exhibitions, contests and won such awards as: Gold and Silver certificates "Zodchestvo", "Architecton", "House of the Year", "High-quality architecture", diplomas of the International Association of Unions of Architects, "Mark of Conformity" of the Petersburgers' International Club and honorary diplomas of the St. Petersburg Legislative Assembly.
At the moment there are more than 100 people working in the company - six groups of architects, structural engineers' department and master plan group. All works are being carried out using the latest information technologies. It improves quality and reduces terms of work being performed.
The bureau works together with such foreign companies as: «Egeret West» (UK), «Strabag» (Austria), «RMJM» (UK), «Ortner & Ortner» (Austria), «Langhof» (Germany), Werner Sobek Ingenieure (Germany).
There are many projects at the Exhibition which are being realized together with a bureau's steady partner architect Sergey Tchoban and his offices in Moscow and Berlin. The partnership between Evgeny Gerasimov and Sergey Tchoban began in 2002 with their first team-work experience on the project of the high-class housing estate on Krestovsky island "The House by the Sea". By the end of the building in 2008 when this project got many national and international prizes in architecture St. Petersburg and German architects had been working hard together on many projects. From 2007 tandem Gerasimov/ Tchoban won such contests as exhibition center "Expoforum" in Shushary, business-administration complex "Nevskaya Rathaus" (Smolny-2), "Europe Embankment" complex, residential area in Kudrovo village "Seven capitals". At this time such projects as business centre on Medikov Prospect and development of business area with administrative building JSC "Bank St. Petersburg" are being started. The co-operation of these two architects is very effective and it continues till nowadays thanks to their similar views on architecture and mutual respect for personal and professional qualities, which turned into friendship.
