The Nikolsky market building is a federal cultural heritage object. The concept of adapting the building to presentday needs involves locating a multifunctional hotel and business complex at the territory: a hotel, business office area, shopping area, recreational area, and underground 2-level parking lot. The project was not implemented due to changes in legislation.
